Stella is 1 year old Labrador mix and we live in Mexico City. She was so small and sick when I adopted her, she had to stay 5 days at the veterinary…but she made it through and she became a healthy and strong adult. She’s friendly and very energetic! Nevertheless, she has a stubborn yet gentle personality. She makes funny faces, loves big walks and having a splash in the water! I followed the project today and I love how you capture every dog’s personality!

My dog’s name is Ziggy (after Ziggy Stardust) he is an English Springer Spaniel who lives up to his Springer name. He’s going to be 4 on June 1st. He loves the beach, rolling in the sand, bringing half the beach home, learning tricks, playing ball, and of course attention and cuddles. He loves chicken and peanut butter and anything that fall on the floor (he really believes in gravity). We had been looking to get a dog for a while but sadly the mom of the breeder we were supposed to get from lost the puppies. But a couple weeks later we saw a post that the sweetest black and white puppies had been born. The next day we drove up (July 2021) and fell in love with him. On July 26 he came home with us and has been our little goofy angel (sometimes devil lol) since.

My dog's name is atlas, he's a 3.5 year old German Shepard, pure black, he's 130 pounds and the working line, he is outgoing, smart, loyal, affectionate and loving to anyone. So I got atlas at the shelter when he was 1.5 years old, he was picked up off the street at 6 months old, they never knew who his father or mother were, so he went to the shelter, they told us he was a massive bite risk, and he bite a child and I have yet to see it, he loves everyone. Atlas favorite snack is pretzels and chips, he also loves walks, throwing sticks and chasing tennis balls sense for German Shepard ball is life.

Our dog Patricio is a rescue from Mexico, and while we’re not totally sure of his age, we think he’s about 6 or 7 though he carries himself like a retired movie star. When he first arrived, he was terrified of everything, including doorways. Fast forward a bit, and now he’s the boss of the house, running the show like he’s always lived here. He’s our little prince, and we honestly can’t imagine life without him. Patricio is all about routine and comfort. After breakfast and dinner, he expects a treat his “dessert” and if we forget, he’ll give us the look. You know the one. Judgy. Disappointed. Like we’ve failed him personally. After his treat, it’s time for his evening walk. He’ll sit and stare us down until we comply. He knows the neighbourhood like the back of his paw, and he’ll let us know if the usual route isn’t quite suiting his vibe that day either shortening it or extending it as he sees fit. If we disagree? He puts the brakes on. I’ve never met a dog who can stage a peaceful protest in the middle of a sidewalk quite like him. He’s also a king when it comes to comfort. He will not lie down without a blanket. Full stop. He’s recently upgraded himself to the couch’s decorative pillows, which—let’s be honest are now covered in dog fur and no longer decorative. In fact, because of Patricio, we may have made some… adjustments to our lives. We sold our place and bought a home with a backyard specifically for him. We joke that the yard is his domain and we just happen to live there. We also got a new bed that’s lower to the ground. Sure, we needed one… but it’s “for him.” Same with the new couch. Totally necessary, but let’s face it it’s his couch now. He loves the sun, lives for a good sunbeam nap, and rocks his sweaters and jackets when it’s chilly out. But rain? Absolutely not. One drop and he’s done. Patricio has completely stolen our hearts (and most of our furniture). He makes us laugh daily, keeps us on a schedule, and brings so much joy and love into our lives. We like to say we rescued him, but if we’re being honest he rescued us, trained us, and now rules us. And we wouldn’t have it any other way. Also, I just wanted to say I found you on TikTok about a year ago, and I truly look forward to your videos. You have such a gift for capturing the most beautiful, authentic moments. Somehow, I always seem to tear up watching them. Thank you for the positive light you bring to everyone you meet and to all of us lucky enough to see your videos. It really means more than you know. My dog Rex is a 4 year old German Shepherd, he has a very outgoing personality and absolutely loves other people, we got him when he was 6 weeks old from a family friend and he’s been the best dog we’ve ever had, his favourite snacks are beef strips and loves chasing a ball on an nearby oval!

Hi, My dogs name is Frank. He is a Corgi and is 1 year old. He was originally owned by a woman who had her mother move in and he was too rambunctious for her so she gave him to a local organization - Paws it Forward. He was originally housed to another family who lived in an apartment, but it wasn’t the right fit. We found out about Frank and applied for adoption and luckily we were picked. They were very nervous because they didn’t want another instance of a home that wouldn’t work for him. He has a TON of energy and needs a yard and attention. Luckily my husband and I both work from home (we’re located in Kelowna and have two daughters) so he gets attention and lots of play time We have now had Frank for just over 5 months. The cat, Simon, is still getting used to him but he’s been a very quick addition to our family. He loves chewing all things stuffed - destroys more like it so we stick to more robust toys now. He likes eating shoe liners and chasing all the birds and squirrels. He also loves going for hikes and having a “poo with a view” as we call it. He is starting to learn to fetch with us, loves a pup cup and playing with everyone. He also loves peanut butter in his benebone and any treats he can get his hands on. I’ve been watching your videos on Instagram for a long time. I love your photography and that you always seem to capture the pet and owners personalities so well! Had a bit of a tear up when I saw one about a proposal. It was so sweet!

This is my dog, Charlie! She is a full America bully and the youngest of 3, she is about 2 years old but still very much a puppy like her other siblings. She is the feistiest to her brothers! She is the sweetest to people tho and is a great guard dog. She will eat almost everything but eat it like a lady🤣 She lovessss to play in the sun and just lay outside on her back she could do it for days! She loves going on walks even though the person walking her gets dragged😭 My family went from never having dogs to having 3! First 2 we got were brothers and then she came along as the little baby! She was very sick and she wouldn't eat and could barely drink milk, we thought she wasn't going to make it, but this little fighter did and she grew and is so much better now and we are so thankful! 🩷 Also...I have been watching your content for about 6 months and you are such a good photographer omggg😂❤️

Ruby is a rescue terrier mix, around 13 years old. Ruby is incredibly sweet and funny and I swear she knows she is cute and does cute stuff on purpose. She loves being warm and is constantly chasing spots of sun around the house, or pulling blankets off the couch and covering herself up with them. This winter we caved and bought her a heating pad for her bed and she’s never been happier. When she was younger, she was so playful. If you just look at her sideways and then run a little, she will have zoomies all across the house for ten minutes. She’s also crazy fast. A year or so ago, she started coughing during these play sessions. One day I noticed her breathing was extremely labored. We took her to the vet to discover that she was in heart failure. She’s been on medication (upwards of 15 pills a day) since and has been doing relatively good but recently has taken a turn for the worst and is having a lot of trouble breathing. The vet told us this week we need to start thinking about next steps, and it’s clear we’ll have to let her go soon. It’s hard because she is still so happy, and energetic, and just her same happy self. We are devastated but we know this will be what’s best for her.

My dog is Margie and she’s 2 years old and a hound and beagle mix. Margie was a rescue from Tennessee and i got her in July 2023 when she was 4 months old in Long Island, Ny. I began exploring the idea of getting another pup after my childhood dog passed away and I felt it was time for me to get my own dog for us to live the adventure of life together. In the span of 2 weeks of exploring the idea of getting another dog, I went to a shelter and she was there. Margie was bowlegged when I i initially adopted her due to the previous owner locking her in a cage all the time, and we were told that she would have that her whole life; however, as she grew older and ran around everyday she no longer has that. Despite her experiences, Margie is such a sweetheart and loves people which is hard because I’m an introvert lol. I don’t know if it was because of her playful and friendly self or the universe bringing us together but Margie is a blessing in my life. During the warmer seasons we always go on runs and play outside together, she’s extremely playful and friendly that she loves anyone who plays with her. She loves blueberries, banana, carrots, apples, and strawberries. Her favorite activities are running and watching movies (especially scary ones)! Margie brought another spark in my life and my parents after the passing of our dog and she has taught me sooo much about myself. Since last year, I would always see your shorts on my feed and i always stopped to watch. I loved the idea of you providing strangers with picture's that they will cherish forever. Sometimes it’s hard to be able to get pictures of you and your pet and i feel like you provide these people with such an amazing experience and memory.

You inspired me! I love taking photo of dogs and cats (mostly cats these days). I just got Sony a7CII last month.

My dog’s name is Foofoo, or Mr.Foo. He was a street dog from Shanghai before being rescued by a small nonprofit in the Bay Area. He is around 3 years old, and is 3/4 pembroke welsh corgi and 1/4 sheltie (thanks, Embark). He’s a foodie and will eat anything and everything, including fruits and veggies. He loves to run in an open park and is very social and loves to play. He’s also a big fan of mud puddles and will get himself muddy any chance he gets. He loves everyone (and most pups) he meets.

My dog Hagrid is 4 years old. He's a mix of old english bulldog and french bulldog. We got him when He was 10 weeks old. He loves to eat cucumber and carrots. He is just a goofy ball and try to catch light shadows. He is very friendly to kids and other dogs. We live in Germany and I follow your project almost from the beginning. You helped me to try to photograph other dogs as well.

I love that your interactions are always so genuine, and you have an ability to put people at ease in a situation they might feel nervous in. Your photos are always amazing and the ways you edit the videos and content is fantastic! I think I've been following your content since almost the beginning, and I couldn't begin to pick a favourite interaction. But it's been amazing getting to see you take this project to different cities and even countries. I see your content pretty much every day and love seeing it come up in my feed! I just recently adopted a rescue dog! His name is Bruno! He picked his name actually, as he arrived with a different one that I didn't love and he didn't answer to - so we said name options out loud and he came running for his name! He is a pit bull and dachsund cross. He had a rough start - he has been in 5 homes in just his first year of life. He has such a goofy personality - he has a derpy run and he loves to do parkour flips and jumps, but somehow struggles to get onto the couch one leg at a time. He also sighs like he is the one who pays bills (haha). He has been pretty anxious and nervous, but getting to see him figure out new dog things that make him happy has been fantastic! He's a great dog and I'm glad I took a chance on him. Hoping to work some more on his reactivity over the next while (he's reactive to dogs and nervous of men right now, but already getting better)
